Geoff Morrell: Grass Roots
A few years after Murder Call finished on Nine, Geoff Morrell was cast as Col Dunkley in the new comedy series Grass Roots, created by Geoffrey Atherden (who had previously created Mother and Son).

Joelene Crnogorac: The Man From Snowy River
After the popularity of The Man From Snowy River films, it was almost inevitable a TV series would follow. Finally, in the 90’s, the TV series arrived. The show was popular overseas but since the original story was only well known in Australia, it was was given the alternative title of Snowy River: The McGregor Saga. The youngest member of the McGregor family was Danni, played by Joelene Crnogorac for the first two seasons.

Anne Looby: A Country Practice
Anne Looby joined A Country Practice as the new vet Anna Lacey after the departure of popular vet Matt Tyler. In tow was her nephew Billy who caused her headaches, especially with the new local cop Tom Newman.

Kris Wyld: White Collar Blue
After Wildside, Kris Wyld and Steve Knapman teamed up to create and produce White Collar Blue for Channel Ten. The Peter O’Brien series proved to be very popular.

Peter Mochrie: Murder Call
Following on from John “Knocker” Harrison in Water Rats, Peter Mochrie went on to star in Hal McElroy’s next drama series Murder Call, playing Detective Steve Hayden.

Peter Mochrie: Water Rats
Peter Mochrie played John “Knocker” Harrison during the first series of Water Rats. His character was a fan favourite and his betrayal of the Rats will go down in history as one of the biggest and best storylines in Australian drama of the 90’s.
